overview-box.jpgThe thought occurred to me the other day that I should put my desk in storage. It’s pretty big and we don’t really have room for it right now.  That’s all well and good but, what do I do with my computer? I hate having the computer out with all the cables and crap looking bulky and stupid. One of the reasons I bought my desk is that it had a place in one of the pedestals to hide all that stuff.

The answer, of course, is to buy a computer that looks good on a desk or table that doesn’t take up a lot of space… Introducing the Mac Mini (introduced to me anyway, thanks Chris). It is small, it is elegant and it’s a good way to get into Mac culture (or do I mean cult?). I already have a monitor and a network and external hard drives and all the extra stuff to go along with a computer so just getting the computer itself is perfect. It’s relatively inexpensive and it’ll meet all our computing needs… surfing, email, managing photos… and we use iTunes already.

Now the question is… Is it worth the money and do we really need it?
