I woke up to banging out my window this morning.  These guys were fixing a dumpster for my building.  This was at about 8am and I accidentally didin’t go to bed until about 4am.  I was watching the last few episodes of Dexter… what a great show.  More on that later.

Happy New Year!

2006 has been a good year to me. I closed out the year with a woman I love, an apartment I like and a job I enjoy. I hope that 2007 will be as kind. Of all the new years resolutions I made for ‘06, I only kept one… to quit smoking. I’ve been smoke free since my birthday (Feb 26th) and still no real desire to start again.

In the spirit of new years resolutions, I’m going to be so bold as to post them here. Wish me luck.

1. Eat Better. Should be easy, I eat like crap and just cutting out the fast food would be satisfying this one.
2. Exercise More.
3. More Highlights, Less Bloopers. I just have to be less of an idiot.
4. Post a Pic a Day. This is going to be the most difficult. I vow to take and post one picture every day to this site. It may not be acompanied with a blog entry but there will be a pic. Today’s pic is of my kitchen.
5. Spend More Time with My Friends. I’ve been terribly lax in this area.
6. Call My Mother More. I’ve been bad here too.
7. Write in My Journal at Least 3 Times a Week.
